And with two live coaching sessions included with every paid subscription, Tynker makes it easy for parents to help their kids get started.

Setup and initial impressions

For the purposes of this review, I was given a subscription from my friends at Tynker. I pasted my gift code, set up my account (which was super easy!), and within minutes, was getting started on my first coding lesson. My first impression was that the website had a clean user interface and the lessons were straightforward. Your parent or guardian can also create an account to follow along with your progress.

What's Included

Tynker just announced that with every paid subscription, two live coaching sessions are included. This would be a huge help for kids who are just starting out, but also a great resource for troubleshooting or leveling up your coding game.

Why It's Fun

Tynker has gamified coding education that makes coding interactive. For example, in the python lesson I completed, the storyline was about a group of cyber heroes who defeat the evil Bytes and reclaim the memory chips to return to the Motherboard to restore her memory. Very creative and fun! I especially enjoyed the visual aspect of these activities. Throughout the learning activity, I was motivated to reach the goal and make the mission a success!

Conclusion

Tynker is one of the best resources for teaching kids how to code. With its user-friendly interface and interactive lessons, Tynker makes it fun and easy for kids to learn coding. And with two live coaching sessions included with every paid subscription, Tynker makes it easy for parents to help their kids get started. So if you're looking for a fun and educational way for your kid to spend their winter break, be sure to check out Tynker.

Special thanks to my friends at Tynker for providing me with a gift subscription in exchange for my honest review! All opinions are my own.
